The Beginning is The End (Part 2)

Brothers and Sisters

Minna-

I searched what ended up being an abandoned house in the middle of nothing. If you could call a windowless structure with cold concrete walls a house. It wasn't pleasant here, humans and vampires appeared to have lived here coexisting, doing what I couldn't tell after being locked away for so long together.

But they knew about me. Were there more scattered around the world that Anomolus had hidden? I had no time to dwell on it, and apparently no friend in Malphas, who released me for no reason. I thought for a moment, his brother and my mother want me punished and or dead so why am I going back again?

"Because, there is a bigger plan for you. Stop playing the fool sister."

I turned abruptly to see Dionisio standing there. "How'd you..." he held up his hand to cut off my words. "Being the King of Amenthes has many benefits, I just won't say what. Amenei and I well, let's just say your siblings know a lot," he stepped closer to me, " but I  know much more. I won't betray Naberus. That is Malphas' goal sister, and Mother she will not betray him either...but unfortunately. She is bound to them both, you should know this. Or are you really that blind?

I looked at my brother in total confusion. "What?" I asked. By now Dionisio was annoyed with me. He began to look around as if someone was following him. "We lived in the same womb, yet you never bothered to read Kheresket's thoughts or memories to know our mother? We are truly unique beings to have come from her Minna."

I was upset by that statement did he happen to know that while in the womb I was...

"I was in the process of dying who gave a shit back then." I responded resentfully.

Dionisio laughed a bit, "Not the entire time. That's not the point I'm making here.." This time I cut him off. "I don't have that skill. I was born with a certain set of skills and those weren't included." My brother smiled at me, something a family member hadn't done in a while. "Guess I'm just 'unique'" he laughed raucously. I paused at his laugh.

"Maybe it's because you're not even the child of Anomolus and Kheresket, "I spat, "You are the last of the born Agathodemon. And you just want to taunt and mock me. I'd rather learn to function here as a dreaded human than to go back and live among you. There is always a vendetta, something to be owed. I owe nothing to any of you."

Dionisio smiled and clapped slowly. "Great speech sister, no tears though. So you didn't learn too much. Oh! here's a message from my father. My brother whisked me to a cliff's edge holding me by the throat. I felt nothing beneath me. I heard nothing, but crows in the distance. Dionisio vanished from the cliff. It was the longest fall, time once again stopped. And the strangest thing occurred - as time stopped, I was in a place I'd never seen before,  a place I had only briefly heard about...

 The Archangel

Minna-

"Interesting finding you here," Azrael spoke with a smile. I wasn't falling anymore but standing back on the cliff, in this odd place. "What is this place?" I asked him. "Well," he began, "lucky for you I spotted you and caught you but you're in-between the human existence and the Amenthien existence so in other words, this is Mid-World. Functions like The Akert or what lessor beings call limbo just no torture. There needs to be a middle ground for heaven and hell. And you have found it Minna."

Coolest shit I ever heard, I thought. "Hell...why don't you just say Amenthes like the rest of us, you mean all hells?" Now I saw why Amenei was mesmerized by him, or was it because I now had humanity.

"I do," he said, "Different beliefs, different names. To some as you know Kheresket doesn't exist. Recall your earlier conversations with her." I could tell Azrael didn't like speaking good of my mother, not now. "You know Azrael...I didn't ask you to help me I was perfectly fine with dying." Why did I say that?

"All humans say that, so you jumped then?" he asked.

"Nope, thrown off by my own half brother, nice huh? I met Malphas too, he's the one who released me." I suddenly realized that I was one of my own kind, well used to be anyway. Azrael was calculating in his head, he understood Dionisio. That explained the allegiance and Naberus willingly giving command to him. Malphas was a wild card.

He wanted to know more and Minna would talk, she was safe for now, no one could do any thing here. Even the Amenti and the council thought about relocating.

Azrael turned back to me, "Minna I want to know more but let's get you to the city." He had a plan I guess. "Fine, fine whatever," I said feeling exhausted.

The Warder

Minna-

We made it to mid-worlds city. I hope this place has a name because...yes it was called Aaru. Odd little name. But this place wasn't little at all. On the outside of the gates were wastelands, as far as I could see, and as you stepped through buildings on top of buildings there were no inhabitants, none that I could see yet anyway. It was nothing like Amenthes. "Could I stay here?" I asked the Archangel. To me Azrael never belonged and he was now officially my guide.

He turned to me, smiling once more. "Yes, but why would you?" I have to admit dear reader, I don't know the answer to this. Eventually we made it to what represented the palace of this place. Again I'm afraid of admitting this to you - at this point I was to meet another ruler. Would they be like any of the Amenthien rulers or...I must stop myself because this place is nothing, I mean nothing like the pantheons of Madira. Azrael and I entered this palace and the walls told every battle, every story there was to tell of heaven and Amenthes. "The walls," Azrael began, "show you Amenthes and Heaven because you are Amenthien, if say you were from Hades then it would be different, it also would not have hieroglyphs."

I looked at Azrael suspiciously as he spoke.  "You're not him." "Correction, I am him you just have a hard time trusting anyone right now." he said. He was right about that, and this place was beginning to have an affect on me as well. "How do you know so much about us or why rather?" I asked him. "Minna I'm an Angel, I'm supposed to know."

Azrael looked upon the gold plated walls. He seemed unsettled. I noticed him staring at his hand. I also noted that he didn't actually carry a scythe. That to a humans eyes he appeared as a normal and attractive man. Like tattoo-artist-model normal.

So strange... "Minna tell me what do you see here?" His question interrupted my train of thought. I walked over to where he stood. "The wall," he continued, "is our timeline. "I can't read this Azrael but I can tell one of the glyphs is you." The color drained from his beautiful face. The Angel didn't look well at all. "That's all I needed to know Minna...you can't read images of your mother because you have never seen her true form," he said. "And apparently not your own either," I told him

"It's not that..." Azrael was disturbed.

"He's more than just the Archangel of Death." A woman had spoken.

This woman was more beautiful than my mother and Nephthys combined. Her clothes draped thinly across her body, transparent in an ethereal way. She was absolute perfection, her words once she spoke held your attention. She also appeared as an ancient Egyptian. I couldn't stop looking at her. "Forgive me my name is Khetra, I am the warder of Aaru."

Her voice sounded like wind chimes. Was this a trap? "What does a warder do?" I asked her. "The same as Anomolus does in the Akert, Kheresket does in Amenthes. But unlike your father I am not dead and unable to speak. He is conscious, his last act was...I'll say quite crafty, but not wise."

Khetra moved to where Azrael stood, he still seem a bit conflicted by what he read on the wall. I felt I was in for a story, one I think I already knew. I turned and saw a ghostly figure behind me that whispered, "How you use that information is up to you". Great, now he's haunting me.

"Azrael," Khetra started her tale with her chime-like voice. "Your timeline was cut short and you were raised, do you understand what that meant, have you ever understood the words spoken? The demoness gave you time." She paused to ascertain his response. Amenei is not your One. You can never love her, whatever love you think you feel, stop now........ It is......you know...it is Kheresket and no one else Azrael."

Azrael looked saddened by her words...no, he looked devastated. The archangel stood broken. Did people come here to find truths I wondered, or did she just tell him that to put him out of his misery because it seemed rather cold. "Why?" he asked finally. Khetra sighed and began to speak again. "Just as it was done to her, she made you forget, and for the realm there must always be death. The realm could not function without you, nor her."

Khetra extended her hand and brushed it against Azrael's cheek. "Remember Azrael, remember your Mistress, your true lover. And maybe the Realm can correct it's wrongs. I wouldn't worry too much about the Masters, they will politely step aside. The Demoness does and has what she wants."

Khetra smiled once again, she was so polite about it but it made Azrael angry, he didn't like one word. Why did she offer so much information so freely. "Why are you giving us this information, well me?" he asked. That smile of hers was becoming scary almost like... "Because I know what's in your heart, what's in your mind."

  "Stop," I had to interrupt.

She looked back at me with her tranquilizing beauty. I suddenly felt weak, but I held out as long as I could. Who or what was Khetra? I didn't sense evil from her...just bliss. Azrael spoke again, I could feel him walk over to me. "Khetra, my issues aside, this one doesn't belong here." I could tell he was worried about me. Khetra walked over to my timeline on the wall and examined it. "Earlier she asked if she could stay...I say she would make a wonderful addition. The Princess from Amenthes - she's now wanted there Angel, you and I know. You also know why you have to take her back don't you, think about it."

This woman was crazy but she made some good points so far. I wonder if anyone else was actively looking for me, and not trying to kill me. This also proved something else and I'm not entirely sure about it. Could I trust Azrael? At this time I needed my own allies. Malphas let me out for a reason.

  "Khetra," I spoke out.

  "Why yes Princess?"

"How can I get my body back, or let's say my original power? I don't want to be human, and I need to speak to Malphas." That took a lot for me to say. Azrael looked at me strangely.

I could feel Khetra's smile wash over me, and embrace me. Why she had blinded me in the first place, no clue here. "President Malphas you seek, the brother of Naberus? How did you know he could help you?" she asked.

"I didn't," but good to know I thought.

"I'll summon your Malphas here, but remember this existence is as neutral as any. You Amenthiens do not belong here. I allow the Amenti because they bring balance to your realm." There was more but she wasn't saying it. I thanked her and she left Azrael and I in the room. "Azrael, what does my timeline say?" I needed to know.

"You don't want me to tell you Minna...it's better that I don't." I could feel Azrael moving away from me with sadness in his heart. He couldn't love Amenei. Every second each memory came flooding back to him...he grabbed my arm and helped me from the room. I was glad to be out of this strange room of time. It was haunting, but through a human's eyes I saw a man become broken, not just an ordinary man either.

My thoughts turned to my own circumstances. Is it strange that I couldn't wait for the possibility of seeing Malphas again. Will he help me?

The Beginning is The End (Part 1)

Forgotten in Silence...

Minna-
For the longest time I was alone in silence, and now there was nothing but chattering demons offering this or that contract. I could hear Naberus' words from so long ago in my mind churning like a machine. "If I ever loose you, it is you in control not them." back then I thought he had a motive. Well he did have one didn't he...My Mother, but as I lay here in this unfamiliar body, in this unfamiliar cell I know he meant those words.

I cannot tell you how long I've been here. Time has stopped for me, I no longer hear the laughter from above, it is if I am forgotten in silence, and in time. "Were you lovers?" I remembered asking him...it was all a lie. But did he really lie if he never gave the information freely? I didn't know, nor did I care any longer. I was not the Minnaloushe I was born to be. This of course made me angry.

I heard the sound of heavy boots and chains, a rough male's laughter came through the darkness. "Little one you will die thousands of deaths by the hands of Masters none by the name of Naberus before you become THE Minnaloushe," the voice said. I was confused by this for several reasons. One: he read my mind, I hated this. Two: Naberus. Three: Dying at the hands of Masters. There's more but let's move on.

"I detest mind reading, who are you?" I asked him. My eyes were all human and weak so I could only see the outline of him. I could also feel him moving closer to me taking up the whole of the room or whatever it was that I was contained in. "I am someone that can help you, but of course for a price," He said.

Oh great, another demon. I've got to learn this contract strategy. I should choose my words carefully, or I'll end up in a worse situation, is there a worse situation than being human? "The price is always someone's life so who's going to die?" I asked rather hesitant. He came closer, almost to the tip of my nose. "Too bad," he started, "that the remaining of the Madira have been priced by the Demoness. But the only way to help you I'm afraid is to go to the Akert." He's lying I thought, no one can go there but Azrael. Hope this idiot didn't hear that.

I searched the darkness and gritted my teeth. "You must take me for a fool..." Before I could get another word out another entered the room. Someone much more powerful.

The Crow...

Minna-
I cannot tell you who or what it is about this being that lingered about the area I was in. I could feel the other demons were back almost in a half laugh sort of way. Whatever that means...what I mean dear reader is that I could feel them, snicker or laughing at me but it wasn't audible.

One night, or day the endless barrage of lessor demons took a break and my companion moved closer. It was male, I could finally tell and he seemed familiar...the darkest room I have ever been in lit slowly, showing a man I had come to hate because of his lies and deceit. In this human body I could do nothing I was powerless against him.

Naberus reached out to me the smile on his face sealed my fate, I could see the other demons scatter to the shadows of the room. I thought briefly as he slowly moved closer I was too weak to do anything. Naberus usually doesn't do things with an audience. I heard a laugh...and a hand his hand tighten around my throa...arm? My arm? I saw images dark images, and some bright. My mother, she looked younger, Naberus, and a third all 3 ruled Amenthes separate from Nephthys.

But Nu and Naunet changed, because of Kheresket...it's always Kheresket.

The images began to burn. "I'm not supposed to see this." My head began to pound, this strange Naberus twin grabbed my other arm and showed me other things this time images of my father, why I was suddenly human. I felt like I was going insane.

That laugh again...I looked around for it but saw nothing. Naberus couldn't do this. "It's because I am Malphas." He said finally.

The other demons faded into the black once he spoke his name. I brushed off the mind reading, because I was confused and tired this Malphas can cause hallucinations by touch. To top it all off walk around looking like public asshole number one. "I'm sure that my brother had to have told you that...you think rather loudly." He said with Naberus' brightest smile. "He did." I recalled the conversation back when I was curious about him.

"No one has bothered to teach me how to mask that, just kill." Malphas much like his brother, seemed to favor well tailored suits and looked very clean. The light bent to his will, he seemed more controlled than Naberus. "Because that is what you were born to be a killing machine, but that time is over Minnaloushe." His voice was just like Naberus' too.

"I'm sorry my appearing as my brother must really get under your skin...I cannot do anything about voice but...one moment."

And just like that he was someone else he still resembled the son of a bitch but his hair was black and, I would be all day describing this man er...demon.

  "Appreciated"

  He nodded

"So tell me, What amazing contract will you offer and who's going to die in the end result, I mean the brother obviously twin of Naberus an Agathodemon isn't that treason or something?" I was suddenly hungry but didn't know what exactly for.

Malphas looked around as if he was out of time. "None, no one and no. You've been free since I gave you an understanding of who my brother is and who your mother is. How you got in here...all of it. Now how you use that information well that is up to you."

The room got brighter finally I did notice, I wasn't bound by some unseen force. But I had questions. "I still have questions."

"Of course you do,but I don't have time." He said as he stood straightening his suit. He did it just like Naberus. "How am I getting back to Amenthes?" Hell does he mean he doesn't have time? "Various ways Princess, Good luck," he said and vanished from the room. He left me here. Those Agathodemon are assholes!

"Various ways to go to...He better be right."

Hallowed (Oblivion-Reign of The Agathodemon)

To the bride and Grim...

"Azrael..." Amenei spoke softly into the shadows. "I know you're here."

"I am..." He stepped closer to Amenei, appearing at a breadths distance from her. "Where's Minna?" He asked. Azrael suspected her absence was due to Amenei or her brothers involvement coupled with their father's. Amenei looked up at him smiling briefly but gave nothing away. "Love I don't know what you are talking about."

Azrael's eyes began to change, Amenei could tell he was becoming angry with her, she looked down at her hands and saw them greying, aging like an old human woman.

"Azrael stop!" she exclaimed, her body leaning closer towards death. "Then tell me what I want to know Amenei." The Queen of the Realms growled at the Archangel her teeth bared. Swiftly taking a blade that was hidden in her belt. She jammed it into his side, she knew it wouldn't hurt him but at least it would cause a distraction. Azrael stood there unflinching. "Azrael...STOP!" she wailed as she felt herself decompose from the inside out.

  "You know something Amenei..."

"I know nothing! You don't trust me?!? As far as I know Minna is below the Pantheon getting what she deserves..." Azrael released her from his grip his voice changing to deep concern which annoyed Amenei somewhat. She sighed heavily checking herself. "Why do you say that?" Azrael asked her.

"It's not that I hate my sister Azrael, I don't. She doesn't understand just because she's who she is, doesn't mean shit in this realm. You serve or die. She feels she doesn't have to, her punishment is just. The Agathodemon are right in what they do."

Azrael was taken aback by his beloved's comment. "So if they kill her you don't care?" Amenei straightened her body, making note to pull the blade from Azrael's side since he hadn't noticed it. She stared at it for a moment 'no blood' she thought. "I've made my peace with it, just as My father's death. I don't need either one of them. They mean nothing...they are nothing." She could feel Azrael becoming torn inside, she looked into his silver eyes. He was saddened by her words but she continued on. "If there are only but two of us Madira left in this Pantheon then so be it. They all got what was coming to them. Sandalio...Dezire...all of them. My mother on the other hand...she belongs with Naberus. See it Azrael and accept it. Accept the alignment."

Amenei stood slightly on her toes to kiss Azrael before saying goodbye. She smiled at the thought, that his deadly kiss never harms her. Her voice became haunting like her mothers. "Don't look so down my angel." she whispered as she caressed his face. "It's only just begun."

Blurs are a Mystery...

Amenei turned from Azrael and in the blink of a cats eye she was gone. She reappeared further down the halls, walking past several mirrors that hung on the walls with nothing. Her image was not alone as she walked by. "You just gave him all the information he needed." The blurry image that formed on the other side spoke to her. Amenei kept walking. "How about you shut the fuck up, and let me handle this...isn't it Queen Amenei?" The blur had become frustrated and tried to break through the glass at Amenei. She stopped and turned in it's direction placing a hand to the large mirror.

Amenei's long vampiric fangs began to grow. "I wouldn't underestimate me, I used my time in the primordial abyss very wisely." The image on the other side remained quiet, and after a few moments left entirely. Amenei grinned allowing her fangs to recede. "That's what I thought."

Azrael knew something was wrong with Amenei, he now realized that Kheresket's daughters were only manifestations of the Demoness. Copies and repeats. It was Minna who broke the cycle.

  Where was Minna?

Without a home...
 Minna-

I could hear the laughing, feasting on mortals above me, around me the sound was driving me into insanity. They would come to me arms wrapped around each other like lovers, carve into my skin and feed upon me. Taunt me...they hate me. I cannot see their faces, only hear their voices, and I know not their names.

There's no need to call to any of the Gods, or my mother. I am without a home. What has my father done to me...

I've opened my eyes, to the blackness of the four walls that contain me. A man has come to me kneeling, touching my skin it disgusts and sickens me. "A lot for you..." he said. I will never know what that meant. His voice was grave, like Naberus' but I knew it wasn't him. As much as I despised the demon lord, he knew how to touch. My eyes began to burn, as he got closer the smell of his breath all over me. I would remember his scent forever.

I stayed there unmoving until he touched my leg, rubbing it gently in the dark. I couldn't stand it anymore and although this was not my body, and I was severely weakened I lunged at his throat, catching him by surprise. "A lot for me..." I whispered back. His blood felt black, thick and nasty. I tore at his limbs, and ripped his head from his body. The hours churned by and nothing happened, no one else came. So I laid back down in darkness. Without my home...waiting.

We never agree... (Old Visions)

  "He showed me something once."

Kheresket looked up to Naberus confused, he still held her by the back of the neck. His temper was boiling over. He ordered Kasdeyae to continue her torture of the false Minnaloushe. Kas was all to happy to oblige. Her brother Asmodeus joined in stripping the being naked, they tore at her flesh, the screams filled the halls and could be heard throughout the pantheon.

Kheresket felt Naberus hardened as he stood behind her. His nails piercing the skin of her throat. She turned her head to speak, causing a small scratch. "Who?" she said finally.

"You will know...your priestess and I must have a chat."

"Naberus, do not hurt her." Kheresket began to show signs that she was not pleased where this was headed, but not Naberus brushed it off. He couldn't shake information out of Anomolus could he. Naberus had let go of Kheresket. She turned to see that the smile on his face said that hurting Dezire is exactly what he planned to do.

  "Naberus..."

"You know full well Kheresket. I am not bound to any of your silly laws, I want information. Your little priestess has it. She walks around all day and night undetected. You feed her information, you don't think I know? There's nothing and no one to protect her anymore. Your house is dead. I rule Amenthes, and I rule YOU. Has your memory slipped you yet again?"

Kheresket had to think quickly and silently, Naberus could read her thoughts and her body. This time she would suffer for her priestess.

"I will not allow you to harm one of my priestesses Naberus."

She could feel his anger wash over her like a wave, Kheresket stepped closer to Naberus looking up into his severe green eyes. "Punish me as you see fit, you will never harm what is mine.  I am still the Goddess of this Realm."

Deep within Naberus he knew he couldn't, but that didn't stop Kasdeyae. "You have me all wrong my Goddess" he mocked. "Kasdeyae and Agaliarept have wonderful social skills." Naberus smiled. Kheresket glanced to the window to see Kas and Asmodeus the first of the two brothers still in the cell with 'Minna'.

Her eyes widened when she realized what happened, and she tried to flee. Naberus caught her by the length of her black hair pulling her to a stop. Naberus made a sucking sound with his teeth, as he brought Kheresket back to him.

"No no my Goddess...you were saying?"

Kheresket grabbed Naberus by the arm and flung him into the wall. The stone shook, vines began to spread throughout the foundation from his weight. Naberus spit up blood from the impact, small drops of blood trickled from the corner of his mouth. He wiped it away and looked at his hand and then turned his eyes to Kheresket who said nothing.

"Looks like we can't seem to agree...you will pay for that no less." he stated as he moved from the wall and straightened his suit. "Naberus..." He held up his hand to stop her from speaking. "I have no time for this Kheresket." He stood next to her facing the other direction looking down at her, his jaw clenched tight and pushed her as hard as he could through the wall. The pantheon groaned and shook at the force of the Goddess making a perfect hole through it's foundation. "How does that feel Khere, Get up!"

Kheresket laid there for a moment, she knew it was coming but not that hard. She shook her head at how silly this was. She wondered if he remembered that they did fight like this for eons. Kheresket raised her head to see his hand extended to her, she looked into his eyes unafraid. There was never a reason to be afraid of Naberus or a reason to mistrust his odd judgement. She took his hand and allowed him to help her up. They walked away from the lower dungeons of the pantheon. With the understanding that...they would never agree on anything. Not even who actually ruled Amenthes.

"Kill the priestess if you must, but she will tell you everything she knows." Kheresket said as she walked ahead of Naberus, the ever setting Amenthien sun made her skin glow as she emerged from the dungeons. Naberus took a cigarette from his newly acquired case, lit it and inhaled deeply. "I thought you'd see it my way."

"The council won't be too happy with you Naberus."

"It's chaos, and what is this realm without chaos. My love?"

Welcome Oblivion (Flowers of The Storm # 3)

You...No Longer.

Kheresket had found herself near Anomolus' cell, as she and the group traveled along the dank underbelly of the Pantheon. Kasdeyae and her brother's dragged Minnaloushe's struggling body down the halls. Kas' chains had slid down from her armor and wrapped themselves around Minna's head covering her eyes, and her mouth. Her senses were being taken away from her one by one. Kheresket could hear Anomolus struggle as she got closer. Naberus turned to her, staring into her speaking to her so no one could hear.

"End this now Kheresket." she nodded averting her eyes from his hard gaze. Naberus moved closer to her, extending his hand to caress her soft neck, making sure Anomolus could see this as he leaned in and traced her long neck with his lips. Anomolus continued to fight against the chains that bound him, but could do nothing. Kheresket was lost to him. Naberus with his other hand snatched Kheresket by the back of her hair and pulled, she didn't flinch or make a sound just obeyed as Naberus continued to kiss along her neck and down to her breast. He let go of her hair and held her face in his hands. Who knew what lay between them, was it love? There certainly was hate. He knew SHE would obey. His mate would never question him.

Too much time had passed that he had to sit and wait, watching her. "Make it quick." he said as he bent his tall frame slightly to her, and kissed her lips. Kheresket nodded there were no words she could speak. It was much more sadness and hatred in Kheresket. No one knew if that was entirely a good thing. She watched Naberus as he walked away, how his body moved so fluidly.

"You don't have to do this Khere..."

Anomolus' words broke her out of her trance. Kheresket turned her head in his direction. "Oh..?" She said, turning slowly to walk into the small cell that contained him. The spells that kept him in shaped around her body as she entered and bounced back. Her clothes had changed to her usual red flowing robes of silk. It hugged her body and left nothing to the imagination.

"I don't you say...as I recall you broke my spine for disobeying." She knelt down and leaned in close, he could smell Naberus' scent all over her, it sickened him and she knew it. "What do you think he would do to me for not getting rid of you hmm?

Kheresket pulled at the thick chains that bound Anomolus exposing his chest. "Kheresket..." She backhanded him hard across the face sending his blood flying across the room. "There is nothing you can say Anomolus it is over." She knew what he was about to say and before he could say anymore she clawed at his cold flesh, his screams fulfilled her lust.

She wanted him to feel every tear at his body. Once at his heart Kheresket ripped it from him, immediately casting her spell to steady it's rhythm. Blood pooled at Anomolus' mouth but he was still alive. "Oh my love do not worry, you will still live on as per contract your darling children signed. I have to say my mate and Master is very pleased about that." She grinned at the last words.

At the cells entrance two guards from Naberus' legion appeared crossing their arms over their chest and bowed to the Demoness. Kheresket gave her approval and spoke to them, "A temporary lift has been put on limbo so that you may return take him there and leave his body to rot." The sons did as they were told and dragged Anomolus' lifeless body from his cell. Kheresket still holding his heart summoned a small box and placed it inside. Wrapping a smaller chain around it with a lock and spell inscription.

She took the box to an area near her private chamber and sealed it into the wall where it could not be found or disturbed. It's inscription held the end of Anomolus' life.

My Wake...
 Minna-

I can't describe my fear, or my pain, I don't know what they will do to me, I no longer feel the strength of my father. The time of the Madira has passed. At one time I wanted to give in...What's happening to me? What will they do to me?
 Silence...

When She'll Stop...

Kasdeyae grabbed Minna by the arm and spun her around. The demon spoke with a grave voice like her father Naberus but with a feminine touch. The chains that wrapped around her body and armor slid themselves onto Minna. Minna instantly felt cold and her body shivered. "Don't be too afraid." Kasdeyae said as she walked around the room the chains appearing as tendrils from her body.

"You want to start talking, or should I make you?" she swiftly moved closer to Minna her breath steamed against Minna's skin. "Let me make you...sister." She whispered to her. Minna felt disgusted and pushed against Kasdeyae knocking her back. She wrapped the chains around her arms several times, to pull Kas closer once more and kicked her in the chest.

Naberus, Kheresket and Kasdeyae's brothers watched from a distance where Minna could not sense them. Kheresket had only just arrived moments before, which thankfully distracted Naberus. He was done playing games with Minna. "Is it done?" He asked looking down at Kheresket. She nodded slightly, and kissed his shoulder. Kheresket watched as her daughter was beaten and dragged all over the room for information. Her blood ran down the walls like a steady rain, but still Minna held on.

Kheresket walked closer so Minna would sense her presence, their eyes made connection through the thin veil of the magical glass but they could not see each other.

 "Naberus...it was Anomolus."

Kheresket stepped back from the glass, her fear took over her, she herself wanted to bolt. Naberus walked up behind  her, he ran his hand up her back sending a chill through her spine and held her by the back of the neck.

"You will not run, what do you mean it was Anomolus?" She began to pant, tears were streaming down her face.

"That's not Minnaloushe..."

Naberus looked up from Kheresket to the glass, she could feel his anger pulsing through his body.

Welcome to Oblivion (The Reign of the Agathodemon)...

 "He switched her."

"What the fuck how?" Dezire was in total shock they had heard everything through Kheresket.

"I've no clue Dezire...but I really don't think we should be around, I just don't know how we're getting away."

 "Well aren't you death?"

Azrael rolled his eyes. "It doesn't work like that Dezire, I figured you would know this by now."

"I'm just sayin'..."

"So is that Anomolus? Minna's dead?" Dezire for the first time was really not sure about anything in this realm. Azrael had his own questions, how did it all slip by him? He still sensed someone's death...Whatever this meant he didn't like it. "I need to find Dionisio."

Azrael got up, searching the area they were in he knew that he could leave but Dezire couldn't. Using his own shadows he escaped whatever bound them to the area. He didn't want to leave her but as Kheresket's priestess she was always safe. Dezire watched Azrael disappear and suddenly felt alone like she had been so long ago while she was trapped in limbo. She hoped being a priestess was a good thing in this realm.
